The grapes named in this blend are such a surprise, one might think theyre drinking a classic southern burgundy chardonnay, rather than a blend of rhone whites from Santa Barbara County! Expertly made (with maximal restriction… this is hands-off wine dude!) Fully certified organic fruit, hand harvested, natural fermentation, neutral oak aging, and genuinely scrumptious Complex, racy, lean but textured. This wine is evertything! Winemaker Stephne Searle is a brilliant and dynamic young local winemaker. He is currently the head of winemaking at Jaffurs winery and pursues his own passion project, Leitmotif, in parallel. His Leitmotif wines are meant to be a puristic expression of the coolest sites in the county, fermented naturally, never with new oak, and always with patience and minimal winemaking.
