Marto's iconic field blend, composed of obscure West German varieties Huxelrebe and Würzer, along Muller Thurgau, macerated for a period of one week. Gently aromatic and eminently refreshing, Weiss is water weight and even more refreshing.
To his millions of fans, Martin Otto Worner is best known for his groundbreaking approach to graphic design. But the truth is a little less glamorous. Like most of our favorite winemakers, Marto spends the majority of his time in the vines and whatever is left in the cellar. He's not interested in cultivating false scarcity, having his “content” sponsored, or appearing at sommelier-run wine events. And despite obvious financial incentives, he refuses to buy grapes or ramp up production, limiting the Domaine to what can be accomplished in solitude or among a small band of friends. In short, Marto's vision is to enrich the _coté paysan_ of his family's winery.
