Here at Penville we believe this is the perfect site for attaining a balance of vibrant acidity and the refreshing fruit qualities in rosé. This is our second vintage working with the esteemed Vogelzang Vineyard. Sustainably farmed, the fruit was pressed whole cluster then fermented using only native yeast in our 476 gl concrete egg and large neutral oak barrels. The wine was then aged in neutral 500L Puncheon and small stainless steel barrels for six months then bottled unfiltered and unfined.

256 cases produced

Harvest Date: September 20th, 2021

Bottled On: March 9th, 2022

pH: 3.32

Alc/Vol: 11.19%

Artwork: Eric Jones

Proprietor of True West Tattoo in San Luis Obispo, Ca

www.truewesttattoo.com

Penville was founded in 2013 by friends Patton Penhallegon & Michael Villas to create wine from the central coast of California.
