We picked early before the heat waves of September, averaging 21.5 brix. The result was a stunning combination of bright acidity, firm texture and expressive aromatics.

1/2 pressed to ferment in oak barrel
1/2 crushed to ferment on skins for 14 days, then pressed into Acacia barrel

Our Story
Caitlin Testa and Karla Ford were both born and raised on California's charming Central Coast. They grew up with an appreciation of the land - its beauty and abundance. After becoming mothers, they both leaned in toward a more natural and organic lifestyle. One of their favorite afternoon splurges is sharing a gorgeous, low alcohol, organic bottle of wine with their friends as their children play closeby.

Terra Mere loosely translates to Mother Earth in French. We believe if we honor our Terra Mere that she will return the blessing in abundance. Our wine showcases the abundance and beauty that this lovely land offers and our grapes are grown in respect with the land.

Our wine is designed to be enjoyed with friends, during special moments and for the simple times in between that make life the most meaningful.
