WSET 2: Award in Wine and Spirits - March 23, 24, 31, April 8

Welcome to the next step in your wine enjoyment and professional wine career! The Intermediate Certificate is an ideal level for those with little knowledge of wine, or those who have depth of knowledge regarding particular types of wine but lack a true breadth of knowledge of all the world’s wines. This program enables students to interpret wine and spirits labels, explain the fundamentals of wine-tasting, become familiar with the world’s major wine regions and their principal wines, and share basic advice on wine selection and service. A basic overview of the key categories of spirits and liqueurs will also be provided. This course involves 18 hours of instruction over three sessions. Food will be provided from Satellite's Farmer's Market Menu for all three classroom sessions.

  • Friday March 23rd, 5pm-9pm
  • Saturday March 24th, 10am-5pm
  • Saturday, March 31st, 10am-5pm (please note this has been changed from the previously posted date: Easter, Sunday April 1)
  • Exam: Sunday April 8th, 2pm-3p
    • Satellite Offers the full, mandatory 18 Hours of Instruction... Watch out for providers who cheap out!
