We're so stoked to host Niels and Penny Verberg - some of the most exciting winemakers in South Africa. We'll feature four of the wines alongside a beautifully plated farmers market Satellite dinner by Chef Emma West.Ā
This is the first time the full lineup will be available for public tasting in the USA and a rare opportunity to meet these rad winemakers! Luddite, btw, was named such as a response to SA's move toward machine farming and large production - the Luddites eschew hi-tech and work instead on an intensely human scale - making some of the best wines anywhere.Ā

We'll have all wines they produce on hand ā 2023 Saboteur White, 2021 Saboteur Red, 2021 Shiraz, and 2023 Chenin Blanc. The latter two are truly in the top echelon on SA wines made. I don't say this lightly, Chenin gives Joly a run for his money with ease. Iāve never shown the Shiraz and Chenin wholesale because they have a cult following here!"
