About
Satellite has evolved from a Farmer to Table / Farmer to Glass Restaurant into an Events Venue (The Factory) and Natural Wine Shop & Wine Club. We’re focused on ethical, environmentally beneficial agriculture and the freshest locally grown ingredients.
In our past life on State Street, we provided an all day dine-in bar, lunch, & dinner service. While not available every day, we do offer all that classic Satellite goodness in our catering! Please visit The Factory for more info on events and catering.
Satellite Events are a place to discover uncommon & honest flavors, meet friends, and learn about food & wine.
Check out our Private Events page for more information on Buyouts & Catered Events!

Satellite was founded by our chief Winestronaut, Drew Cuddy. Drew's wine journey began at 15 with a trip to Italy that sparked a love for simple and pure food and wine. Throughout college he spent summers with natural winegrowers, living and working on biodynamic properties across Europe. He is currently (…still) a Diploma Candidate with the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust). 👨🚀
The foundation of our farmers market menu comes from the mind of Executive Chef Emma West, former partner in Santa Barbara's late & famed Julienne Restaurant. Her expertise in farm to table food established Satellite's ever-evolving menu-style; a showcase of Santa Barbara’s bountiful seasonal harvests. While Emma has moved on to other projects, her natural and elegant influence on our menu carries on. 👩🌾
We've partnered with BookSantaBarbara.com for events and entertainment. Founded by Brett Hunter, of The Stü and BrettHunterMusic, BookSB represents full in-house event booking with Satellite. From musical entertainment, to lighting, to event design and coordination - Brett and his team are the premier one-stop-shop in Santa Barbara! 🎷
