Grenache rosé fermentation was stopped with only wine distillate, made from some leftover wines from 2021. This dessert wine is all flowers, grass and nectar. 100g/l sugar, 16% alcohol, this is a dangerously easy drinker.
Occteau is a négoicant wine project based in Santa Maria, CA & Portland, OR working with different farmers and vineyards in Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo Counties in California’s Central Coast. Ryan Santos, James Beard Nominated Chef, is the whole project and boy-oh-boy is he doing a good job.
