Chef's Kiss - 'Wilson Vineyard' - Chenin Blanc - Clarksburg, CA - 2022

Chef’s Kiss 2022 is 100% organically grown Chenin blanc from the Wilson Vineyard in Clarksburg, CA. The grapes were foot stomped and macerated on skins for 8 days. The juice and skins were separated only taking the free- run to ferment in stainless steel. The wine went on to age in neutral Hungarian oak for 9 months and bottle for a year and a half. This wine is low impact and low intervention, meaning nothing added and nothing taken away. The 2022 Chef’s Kiss is like a warm July evening. It’s the golden hues of a summer sunset dancing across the ocean. Subtly herbaceous and linear with beautiful acidity. Pairs perfect with a linen table cloth and fennel citrus salad with grilled halloumi.
