This Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) comes from 30-40 year old vines grown on ancient river and lakebed deposits of sandstone, gravel and calcareous marl. Light and easy drinking. Perfect wine for a spring picnic. Juicy fresh peach, a kiss of marzipan with a salty crushed gravel finish. Absolutely thirst-quenching.

Der Rebenhof is located in South Styria, Austria, just a stone’s throw from the Slovenian border. In 2008 Hartmut Aubell took over the vineyard that has been in his family since 1924. He farms his 23.5 acre vineyard with extreme slopes and terraces following biodynamic principles, and received Demeter certification in 2016.
