Moschofilero is a wonderful grape, with its hauntingly piercing floral scent, moderate body and fine acidity. It has more than a passing resemblance to fine Gelber Muskateller, and Mantinia is acknowledged to be the place in Greece where it shows its greatest possible expression.

Notes on the Producer

Inomessiniaki Winery was established in 1998 and is located in Kalamata, the capital city of Messinia region in Southern Greece. It was the first contemporary & fulfilled unit which was producing and trading bottled wine in the Kalamata region. Today, after 20 years, Inomessinaiki has accomplished controlling the whole production of raw material and has built powerful bonds with its customers based on trust for the quality of the wine and for the taste. We are active in the production, bottling and merchandising of Appelation of Origin of Superior Quality wine varieties. Production capacity of more than 3,000 tn and implements the ISO 22,000:2005 Quality Management System. After 35 years in the sector of Messinian goods, Takis Xigoros established Inomessiniaki winery to support and promote the superb varieties of the Messinian vineyards. The two sons of Takis Xigoros followed enthusiastically in his footsteps demonstrating their willingness for hard work and great love of winemaking. Each one of the specialized workers of the winery contribute to the quality production of the wines. The goal of the whole team is to encompass in every drop of wine all their love and care.
