Jan-Philipp Bleeke
Born far away from Germany’s famed wine regions, Jan-Philipp Bleeke found his way to winemaking through several twists and turns in life that brought him to the beautiful Mosel Valley.
This first-generation winemaker farms his steep slope vineyards using biodynamic principles and agroforestry. He is the founder of the Mosel’s first community supported agriculture project called "SoLaWino", a partnership between the winegrower and consumers in which responsibilities, risk and rewards are shared.
Outside of the Mosel, he is also working on projects in Rheinhessen, Hungary and Alsace.
