Krenn49 - A house with the address 49 Edelsbach, Steiermark, Austria. Surrounded by vines, forest, orchards and meadows. What started as grandpa’s small cattle farm and backyard vineyard, has turned into a winery, tavern and home of now 3rd generation winemakers Josef and Barbara Krenn.

Their 4.5 hectares of vineyards are lovingly cared for. With a strong focus on organic farming and healthy soils, all grapes are hand harvested, fermented by native yeast and bottled unfiltered. The Krenns are creating wines with character and a story to tell. They produce a wide range of styles from classic and true to varietal to extended skin contact whites and carbonically fermented red wines.

Not only are these wines works of art to drink but the creativity flowing out of the Krenns extends to their beautiful label artwork which is all painstakingly handcrafted by Barbara. Every wine has its own unique story told through hand carved linocut reliefs.
