Satellite's Hot Take
A delightful and honest to goodness perfect umbria rosso featuring an all-star cast of grapes from the region - Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Merlot, and Ciliegiolo. From just south of our (adopted) italian home town of Montefalco (Rent Satellite's apartment there in 2026!) this wine has the juice - the tannins - the flaves. Easy to love in every way. Please drink me!

Notes on the Producer
We are south of Montefalco, in the heart of Umbria in the province of Perugia. Ours is a small family-run wine business for 4 generations immersed in a unique landscape, among medieval villages, towers and bell towers, vineyards and olive trees. Our entire large family takes care of the company with passion and dedication, in balance between tradition and innovation, cultivating 30 hectares on the beautiful hills of Montefalco . The vineyards are on clayey soils and exposed to the east. We grow various grapes typical of the area: in addition to Sagrantino which is the leader, Grechetto , Ciliegiolo , Malvasia , Trebbiano Toscano and Trebbiano Spoletino . From these grapes, grown in the vineyards around the cellar, we create wines of the highest level and taste-olfactory profile, working to ensure that a clear territorial and traditional imprint is imprinted in the glass. We take a lot of care, from the vineyard to the cellar, to create complex and structured wines that speak of us and our land. Matteo, Clara, Mario
