Winemaking A recent addition to Francesc range and the first of his reds. The fruit comes from young Garnatxa vines, hand-harvested and vinified using whole clusters in stainless steel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Tasting Note This is vintage is made in a more elegant style, think red cherry, fresh raspberry fruit with hints of peppery spice on the finish.

Notes on the Producer

Francesc Boronat is a breath of life in Nulles, the portal from the sea to l’Alt Camp of Tarragona. Living chalky soils, gently rolling slopes, plenty of native flora, and fresh sea breeze from Tarragona’s visibly close “golden” coast provide an ideal climate for Francesc’s old vines to produce distinctly mediterranean, luminous fruit. Since 2014, Francesc has transformed his family’s fruit with a deft hand into beckoning, crystalline white wines that recall picturesque coastal Mediterranean hills, wild herbs, cool breeze, and sunshine.
