Blanc de Noir with a difference. Fresh fruit with a great focus on the essentials. The character of the grape variety is clearly evident, which makes this Blanc de Pinot Noir special. No frills, no gimmicks. The excellent ripeness of the grapes in this vintage gives this Blanc de Noir a beautiful, subtle apricot color. Made from Pinot Noir grapes that were hand-picked in Deidesheim, Niederkirchen and Ruppertsberg. The different ages of the vines, between 5 and 40 years, give this wine a special depth, but without becoming complicated. Part of the must was spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks. The smell initially gives off an inviting scent of hibiscus and wild berries. On the palate, a peppery spiciness is revealed combined with a sweet note of white chocolate, which makes the wine creamy without being sweet. A Blanc de Noir that is still enjoyable even after the second glass and does not become too broad. The well-integrated acidity keeps the drink flowing until the last sip.

Georg and Tatjana Fußer hail from the village of Niederkirchen in the heart of the Pfalz. Protected by the wooded Haardt Mountains, the region enjoys a dry and warm climate defined by varying soils of colored sandstone, loess and limestone. The Fußer family were historically solely farmers of grapes, but in 2006 with a fresh degree in Oenology from Geisenheim in hand Georg transitioned his focus into working with the hard earned fruits of their labor and began producing wines. Working with and respecting nature has always been paramount to Georg and Tatjana. They have been farming their 15 hectares organic since 2011 and received biodynamic certification in 2018. Certified biodynamic by Respect they cultivate a conscientious relationship with the natural environment surrounding their vineyards. Through the interplay of holistic farming, hand harvesting and low-intervention winemaking, Fußer wines are authentic and expressive with a true sense of place. Being located in the Pfalz region the Fußer winery naturally has a large focus on producing quality Rieslings, but also craft extremely elegant and highly drinkable other wines working with varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc and Spätburgunder.
