Description Wonderwerk Big Juicy is a vibrant, chillable red that bursts with personality. Hailing from California, this natural wine is a blend of organically farmed grapes—Montepulciano, Zinfandel, Chenin Blanc, Grenache, Torrontés, Alvarinho, and Verdelho. The Montepulciano undergoes carbonic maceration to enhance its fruit-forward character and soften tannins, while the remaining varieties are fermented on their skins for varying durations to build layers of texture and complexity. Fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered, Big Juicy is a pure expression of minimal intervention winemaking and California terroir.

Tasting Notes
Light ruby in color, it opens with lifted aromas of ripe red berries, wildflowers, and a touch of tropical fruit. The palate is juicy and refreshing, offering flavors of cherry, raspberry, and citrus zest, all leading to a crisp, clean finish.

Pairing Suggestions
Perfect with pasta alla norma, the classic Sicilian dish of eggplant, tomato, and ricotta salata. Its bright acidity and supple fruit complement both the savory and sweet elements of the dish.

Wonderwerk: House of Fermentation
is Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy, two high school friends from Virginia seeking new directions in fermentation. Since our inception we’ve worked with amazing farmers and vineyards from all over California to make wines that everyone can wavelength with. We produce and bottle with our own hands and feet. Every bottle begins as a concept - a look, a feel, an occasion, a vibe - that range from low-intervention to high-innovation production methods in the cellar. Wonderwerk began as a long night on a disco dancefloor finally wound down and we didn’t want the party to end. Now, it’s flowed from there into the wines you see and drink today.
