Important Compliance Requirements
UPS and other carriers we might occasionally use can only deliver wine to customers who are 21 years or older.
Shipping Rates and Options
An important premise: wine bottles are heavy – about 3 pounds each – and shipping is expensive!
Satellite is a little shop, not a big international conglomerate! We wish we could save you the shipping but we want to stay in business!!
We do have preferred pricing with UPS and will always pass through our savings 100% to the customer. We do not charge a premium on shipping and never will.
Placed an order. What next?
1. You will receive an order confirmation email with your order summary.*
2. As soon as your order ships from the warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information.
3. Please track your package using the tracking service.
4. The carrier will attempt delivery a maximum of 3 times. After 3 delivery attempts, your package will be sent back to our warehouse.**
*Please ensure your email address is correct, otherwise, you will not receive the order and shipping confirmation emails.
**If delivery is attempted 3 times with no success or if you fail to retrieve your package at the carrier depot by the stated deadline, the shipping fee will not be refunded to the customer.
As the result of the re-shipment we are charged for both the original shipment AND the return to our warehouse (We understand this is very expensive). If you do miss your delivery timeframe 3 times and still wish to have us re-ship your wines you must cover the complete expense of both the ship-back and re-ship. Unfortunately there are no exceptions to this rule.
In the event that your wine is shipped back to our warehouse and you do not wish to cover the cost of ship-back and re-ship we will credit you the cost of the original wines minus the original shipping cost and the cost of the ship-back. Again, unfortunately there are no exceptions to this rule as the shipping charges have been made and we have paid them for you.
