Overall... the wine is a hallmark Bordeaux and absolutely great. Wonderful price for a real serious wine!
The vineyard founded by the Bouron family in 1964.
Its origin: a small family vineyard. Animal cereals, all cultivated and raised in an organic and friendly spirit.
Today this vineyard consists of 32 hectares of vines. Between the Garonne and the Dordogne, sitting on clay-limestone soils, the vineyard offers Bordeaux with fruity temperaments.
Located 60 km from Bordeaux, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Respect for nature and its rhythms are essential. Patience and the valorization of know-how, all the ingredients are brought together to offer Bordeaux appélation wines of great quality
Controlled and certified by the Ecocert organization (European Decree EEC 2092/91), "Château Chavrignac" wines thus bear the AB logo and can claim the mention "Organic Wine".
