Request a Case Order Each varietal has been fermented on the skin for two weeks. We call this an ‘orange wine’ due to the color that comes from the skin contact. This process adds texture and unique aromas. We leave the wine unfined and unfiltered to keep the delicious texture and flavor. We don’t filter the wine to avoid stripping away the flavor and structure. Naturally, a cloudy wine is completely normal.
On the nose, it is intoxicatingly fragrant. Think of citrus, orange blossom, white flowers, perfume, fruity pebbles, earl grey tea. The palate is juicy, stone fruit, with a hint of grapefruit and a lengthy finish.
Farmed organically at the Coquelicot Estate, just off the Santa Ynez River. The estate is an ideal place for growing a huge variety of wine grapes. The wine is made by Mike Roth of Lo-Fi wines in partnership with his nephew & up n’ coming winemaker Sean Hogan (he happens to be the cellar master at Coquelicot too!)
