Our first importation of this cuvée, the issue of vines upwards of 50 years old, is testament to the unique capacity of Cabernet Franc to offer a seamless journey from uninhibited youth to serene maturity, never losing a step on the way. Aged in used 500 litre casks, it oozes class from first to last -Wine Wise Imports

Located in the wine commune of Saint Cyr en Bourg, Domaine Fouet has continued the family tradition of winemaking for 6 generations. In the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation, Julien Fouet now runs a 20-hectare vineyard, combining modern techniques while respecting tradition. Recognized Domain ... Generally in early October, the harvest of the estate undergoes a first sorting in the vineyard, then a second on the table. Maceration takes place in traditional vats.
