Satellite's Hot Take
This wine will blow your fricken socks off. Like wow. Unassuming and low density in the glass it's a powerbomb of tension and minerality.
Notes from the Winery/Importer
Pinot Noir which thrives on elegance and tension. A blend of whole cluster fermentation and whole berry, destemmed fermentation wines. "An exception which should become the rule."
Notes on the Producer
The true embodiment of living in harmony with nature can be found at Dornach. Patrick Uccelli, his wife Karoline, and their three young children farm the terraced vineyards above the village of Salorno and the Adige valley, originally planted by his family in 1836. The ideals of biodynamics are beautifully rendered here where grapes, other fruits, vegetables, grains, bees and livestock all exist harmoniously creating a closed ecosystem with amazing biodiversity. Dornach’s Pinot Blanc and Pinot Nero burst with varietal and regional character, pure expressions of site and personality.
