Made with half the calories and alcohol vs. tequila, Ola Sol is a delicious agave wine that delivers the same tasting notes as tequila, but with a sweeter & smoother finish. At our farm in Jalisco, Mexico, we harvest 5 year old Tequilana Weber Blue agave and cook it for seven hours, fermenting the resulting juice for 72 hours in stainless steel. After filtering it to a pure blanco, we fortify the wine with 10% agave brandy to finish our agave wine. Ola Sol is Gluten free, Vegan, Non-GMO, and free of sulfites, additives or added sugar. Ola Sol recently won a silver medal at the 2023 San Francisco International Wine Competition. ABV: 24.0%
Notes on the Producer
STEP 1 AGAVE HARVESTING Our agave fields and winery in Villa Hidalgo, Jalisco are owned by the same family who oversees our entire production. They grow, cultivate, and process our 5 year old blue weber agave through sustainable farming methods.
STEP 2
Agave into wine
After the agave is harvested, cooked, and pressed, we ferment the juice in stainless steel barrels for 72 hours.
Finally we filter the agave wine to be perfectly clear & add a small amount of agave brandy to fortify our wine. The only ingredient in Ola Sol is 100% blue weber agave.
Step 3
Bottled in sunny California
We import the agave wine and bottle it at our partner winery in the heart of California wine country.
From there, we can deliver within 48 hours to any California retailer or ship to 46 states.

Our family-owned agave partner is based in Northwest Jalisco, Mexico grows their own agave and makes our delicious agave wine.
Because they own their own agave fields and agave winery/distillery, our agave is 100% estate grown and we have total control and oversight into the entire process, ensuring our farming practices are sustainable, both environmentally and socially.
Our jimador, Armando, has a degree in chemical engineering and has been making tequila for over 16 years.

Both agave wine & tequila are made in Jalisco, Mexico from the blue weber agave plant. To create agave wine, the agave is fermented instead of distilled, creating a liquid that is lower ABV, slightly sweeter, and classified as a wine, not a spirit.
Our farm in Jalisco, Mexico composts the residual agave fibers back into the soil, so nothing is wasted. We employ water conservation measures and restrict our pesticides to only all-natural ingredients. We hire locally from the Jalisco community, guaranteeing a living wage and job security throughout the harvest.
Ola Sol is the cleanest, highest quality agave wine on the market. Unlike other agave wines, we extensively filter ours to create a crystal clear blanco without adding any sulfites, sugars, or other additives. Our wine is certified vegan, non-GMO and gluten free.
As a fortified wine, Ola Sol can be enjoyed up to 28 days after initial opening. Make sure to keep it corked and stored in a cool, dark place.
