Beni Chōji is crafted from pristine Pinot Noir from Alder Springs Vineyard and Cabernet Sauvignon from Stone Barn Vineyard, both organically farmed. This fresh, versatile wine is designed for relaxed gatherings and will officially debut this fall

Notes on the Producer

"The name Six Cloves was derived from my ancestor's business name, with six cloves designed in their business logo. They once sold medicines in the coastal area of the Japan Sea. Later, they migrated to Northern Nagano and started making soy sauce and miso. I chose this name out of respect for my ancestors and to celebrate the heritage of fermentation businesses that have been continuing for centuries. I am Sonoe, the owner of Six Cloves and a Japanese woman winemaker. I grew up in Nagano Japan, surrounded by nature and a family sake-making, soy sauce/miso fermentation, and apple growing. After completing a winemaking program at UC Davis, I gained experience in Napa, Sonoma, Martinborough, Chile, and Sonoma Coast, where I was influenced by top international producers in various winemaking philosophies. My goal is to express elegance and add diverse dimensions to wines of different origins.
