3.5 tons of clone VNS-3 Grenache were hand-harvested from our estate, Homestead Hill Vineyard on 9/11 at 23 brix. The fruit was destemmed and the berriers were hand-sorted before being cold-soaked for 7 days. Fermentation began, naturally and spontaneously. The fruit was basket-pressed after fermentation, and élevage occured in a 30 hL concrete tulip where native bacteria carried out malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged for 11 months. The vineyard is in the Willow Creek AVA of Paso Robles and the fruit is farmed 100% organic. Total SO2: 34ppm Total Cases: 200

We utilize diverse varietals from exceptional Paso Robles and Monterey vineyards. Our wines are made with minimal intervention and native ferments, and the fruit, acid, and tannins are balanced naturally. We embrace the growing season's inconsistencies and harvest's unpredictability rather than producing a standardized product.
