Request a Case Order24-day Skin-Contact Orange wine fermented with feverish intentions. This vino has some body and is designed for the free-spirited. Serve chilled.
We hand-picked Organic Gewürztraminer in Paso Robles and scooted them up to Healdsburg. The whole berries were gently added to tank for a semi-carbonic fermentation for 24 days before being pressed. Primary fermentation was native with an experimental 5% Zinfandel coferment. The skin-contact orange wine was aged sur lie before being racked off the thick lees to tank and filtered on a full moon's day.
All of our friends came together and we waxed each orange wine bottle by hand.
Unfined, Native Fermentation and Semi-carbonic. 35ppm of sulfur was added to the wine.
